90 points Anotnio Galoni Vinous Media
Deep, lurid purple. black/blue fruits, vanilla and building spiciness on the nose. Broad and supple in the mouth, offering smoke-tinged blackberry and cherry flavors and a hint of candied licorice. Finishes long, smooth and gently sweet, with rounded tannins and a repeating licorice note.
90 points Wine Enthusiast
Dark baked cherry, cassis, violet and woody earth aromas show on the nose of this affordably priced red blend. There's a hearty soil component on the front end of the palate, where oregano and marjoram meet with dark-fruit, soy and char flavors.
Winery Notes
Macerated cherries, strawberry reduction, sweet spice, spring flowers, plum tart, melted licorice, and fresh herbs. The palate has an exuberant, sweet approach, with a long, mineral-laced finish. Enjoy with: Smoked brisket with red wine reduction barbecue sauce.
