Dark fruit followed by lighter notes of rhubarb and red fruits. Tobacco, pie crust, and a very slight fruit roll-up character. Nice depth and richness. Higher acidity levels balance nicely with the natural richness of Petite Sirah. Tannins are well integrated and contribute a seamless texture to the wine.

Patrick McNeil (Paydirt) has wine in his blood. He operates Wines that Deliver out of a Storefront his family has owned since the 1860s. His father was a partner in Stag's Leap Winery so he grew up drinking their Petite Sirah. He started in the wine business in 1997 and along the way helped DAVE PHINNEY launch the PRISONER brand back in 2004.

It is through relationships built over years he has been able to source amazing juice for his own labels.
