2011 Daumas Gassac Blanc

Jeb Dunnuck - The Rhone Report
"An outstanding white that has
both richness and freshness, the 2011 Mas de Daumas Gassac Vin de Pays
de l'Hérault Blanc is a blend of equal parts Chardonnay, Viognier,
Petit Manseng, and Chenin Blanc that spent 6 months in stainless steel.
Offering up an exotic array of lychee, mineral, spice, and baked apples,
it has beautiful depth and richness on the palate to go with perfectly
integrated acidity, excellent concentration, and a clean, refreshing
finish. On the fuller side of medium-bodied, it is a knockout white that
should drink nicely for 2-4 years."
