NV Billecart Salmon Brut
92pts(WS)
"Bright and elegant, this
offers appealing flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and orange
peel that show hints of toasted raisin bread, anise and sweet
smoke. Offers a beautiful texture, with a long, mouthwatering
finish. Drink now through 2015." Wine

"Light orange. Tangerine,
pear and flowers on the nose, which is complicated by a note of
fennel. Broad and sappy but dry, with lively orange and strawberry
flavors and a subtle note of spice cake. Weightier on the finish,
which features an exotic note of spicy herbs. This Champagne’s
delicate touch will make it work well with simple seafood dishes or
even sashimi." Stephen Tanzer's

92pts(WE) A dry rosé, freshly tasting of red currant fruits,
laced with beautifully refreshing acidity. The wine has some
weight, but it has more of an elegant, dancing lightness.- R.V.

90pts(WA)The NV Brut Rose emerges from the glass with the
essence of freshly cut flowers, berries and minerals in a
mid-weight, gracious style. It shows gorgeous inner perfume, along
with persistent notes of chalkiness that frame the long, sublime
finish. Year in, year out, this estate’s NV Brut Rose is one of the
most consistently outstanding wines in the region. This is Lot
337014 -3671A. Disgorged June 30, 2010. Anticipated maturity:
2011-2015. This is a fine set of new releases from
Billecart-Salmon. I admire these Champagnes for their trademark
crystalline purity and exceptional sense of balance. Antonio
