2009 Kesner Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
Where as our 2007 was a bit brooding, and our 08 a bit light in
nature, the 2009 is for me the perfectly balanced Pinot Noir.
The best wine I have made at Kesner to date. Brimming with
perfumed fruit tones of red and black raspberry, blueberry,
pomegranate. Light spices with a hint of briar patch and
redwood forest floor. Full in the mouth, speaking of primary
fruit with an impeccable, vibrant acidity. A wonderfully
balanced, structured wine with a lasting finish. Will reward
further aging. Cellared in 30% newer French Oak. 129 cases
produced
