2009 Bridesmaid White Wine
Fresh and complex, this blend of Semillion and Sauvignon Blanc
tastes of sweet honeydew melon, ripe peaches, cream and a touch of
apricot. There's a wonderful mineral quality, fresh milled flowers,
and a lively acidity giving the wine an effortless balance. It
pairs well with everything from chicken and fish to soft
cheeses. Varietals: Semillion, Sauvignon Blanc only 450 cases
made Three winemakers, Josh Peeples (Chateau Boswell), Drew Neiman
(Kongsgaard, Neiman Cellars), and Pam Starr (Crocker & Starr,
Spottswoode), have collaborated by blending their excess barrels.
Even though their premium labels sell for almost three times the
price, Bridesmaid's quality is equivalent. 60% semillon, 40%
sauvignon blanc. This is a California Wine.
