2008 T-Vine Cellars T Red Meritage

This is the Reeses peanut butter cup of wines. Two great tastes that taste great together.While the T- blend has changed from year to year. The foundation is always the Cabernet Sauvignon from the Historic Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga. The mouth filling flavors of chocolate truffles provides the platform on which we build. In 2007, to harmonize with the Cabernet, we layered in 15% Petite Syrah. The combination was so wonderful we recreated it for 2008.  Yes. Chocolate and peanut butter are good together but Frediani chocolate sauce with a juicy layer of boysenberry-pie-in-the-face Petite Sirah is magic. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon 15% Petite Sirahhhhhhh 14.1% Alcohol, 545 cases produced
