2007 Audelssa Tephra Sonoma Valley Red Blend

Winery Notes:We are very excited to introduce our second vintage of Tephra. Our goal with the Tephra program is to provide Audelssa loyalists with a wine that is priced for everyday consumption without sacrificing any of the quality or personality that people have come to expect from our wines.

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Zinfandel is ready to drink, but should age gracefully for 8-10 years. Tephra is Greek for “ash”…which is a reference to the unique soils at our estate vineyard. This food-friendly, medium-bodied wine expresses characteristics reminiscent of each varietal. You can expect spicy notes, red fruit and a round, supple texture.
